You could make a very interesting trip from the Isle of Man via Whitehaven (if that's possible) to Staithes. It is basically the same route as the well-known Coast-to-Coast route from St. Bees to Robin Hood's Bay, and takes you through some of the most beautiful country in England, with a great fish & chip supper at the end. 3 good days on a bike - it could be a Great PDML Bicycle Adventure!
