Actually, it's likely not such a big deal to fix. As you're likely aware, the inside of the rim is taped with thick plastic tape to prevent the inner tube from poking through spoke-holes and bursting. The nail-hole will be much smaller than a spoke-hole. Of course it will be a bit unsightly with the hole visible on the outside of the rim, but as long as we're ridable, I'm happy for now.
