Well, I just scanned a couple of rolls of Kodak Black + White chromogenic film and then a roll of TMax. First glance, the chromogenic scans ok, but the TMax scans extremely grainy. The lab prints of both look about the same as far as grain is concernced but my scanner (Minolta Scan Dual II) seems to do much better with the chromogenic. Has anyone else seen the same thing, or perhaps getting the right settings is in order. I used Hamrick's Vuescan software.
