I intend to get a K10D sometime this year. I have every intention of keeping my DS. If nothing else, I view it as being a camera that I can afford to have in the car with me at all times (along with a nice assortment of good but old glass courtesy of eBay), and afford to have stolen, destroyed, etc. And, as others have mentioned, it would hardly be worth selling anyway.
