I intend to get a K10D sometime this year. I have every intention of 
keeping my DS. If nothing else, I view it as being a camera that I can 
afford to have in the car with me at all times (along with a nice 
assortment of good but old glass courtesy of eBay), and afford to have 
stolen, destroyed, etc. And, as others have mentioned, it would hardly 
be worth selling anyway.

Oh, and there is the small matter of its still being able to take very, 
very nice pictures.  :-)
