Oh, the transfer speeds are nowhere near what I'd get with FireWire or USB2. It's the convenience I'm after. Being able to access my data from different machines without changing anything. Being able to work with my laptop on the back patio while having a glass of wine, etc. >Why don't you put Lightroom on your desktop machine?
