On 19/5/07, Roman, discombobulated, unleashed: >http://roman.blakout.net/?blog=20060609184939&category=landscape
IMO, the first one could be improved dramatically by cropping out most of the ground and increasing contrast and saturation in the sky. I might even turn it into a greyscale and emulate the use of a red filter by turning the blue into black. IMO the second one is an 'also ran'. The main interest is the dried vegetation ready for harvest at bottom left. Yet it's framed awkwardly. The background is of no interest and the powerlines kill it off. Again, I'd mono it and concentrate on the sheafs (or whatever they are). Wider lens maybe. I don't normally comment on pics I don't like, but I suspect Roman is an automated system as it never interacts with anything replied to (that I can determine) so poo. -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
