Thanks Amita. Yes, the L1 is a remarkably competent and useful camera. The 14-50 Leica lens is terrific, and that alone was worth the money I paid. I had very good results from the Panny FZ10 and LX1 too, so I was interested in the L1 from the first moment I saw it. It was just a bit more expensive than I felt was sensible, but with the price down to where it is now I could not resist.
Now about that Summilux-D 25mm f/1.4 ASPH lens ... sigh, there's only so much money in the bank.
