The only advantages of the K100D against K10D are the following: * price * weight/size * AA batteries possibility (but you should use really good ones) * A bit less noise (and 3200iso setting but the noise is more film-like IMO with the K10D)
Other wise everything (really) is way better with the K10D including speed (AF, writing to card, buffer) and support for new AF technology.
