Blue or purple fringe is lense-related problem, not K10D or any other 
Pentax DSLR. Shooting RAW use Pentax Photo Laboratory software and apply 
"Lateral Chromatic Aberration Correction"  and using sliders shift blue 
and red color components if necessary. You'll get much sharper output 
image once all color components are in place. There are several plug ins 
in every image processing software to do this, but I like the way 
PhotoLab handles it.
