Hi Dave,

I checked the raw file, the metering worked just fine, the Histogram
is a Gauss Bell "fat" on the left side and with a small peak on the
right side (probably the overexposed face of the guy in the middle). I
had to underexpose 1 stop aprox when processing the raw file to the
"digital B&W negative" (tiff 16 bits) to recover some of this guy's
face and darken the shadows, but that was more an "artistic" decision,
the k10d espose to the right, and tried to pull detail from the
shadows (details that I didn't need but the camera doesn't know who
the subject is ;o)  ).
