The LEDs flicker before the camera dies - but long exposure in chilly weather are a
bit unpredictable.
All the best!

Aihe: LX battery check?

>Hi,
>
>
>Just had a terrible experience with my LX.
>I was taking some autumn pictures in the forest, and all
>went OK, when suddenly, in the middle of an apox. 1s
>exposure, my LX locked up. Setting the speed dial to B
>at least closed the sutter and released the mirror.
>After some minutes, a last hope, I replaced the batteries,
>and HUH!, everything is OK now.
>I suspect some other pictures taken just before this
>"accident" are underexposed.
>
>But...
>Is there any way to check the LX's batteries without
>getting some sort of the above results?
>
>The meter's LEDs were OK.
