Hi Pål,

I suspect the problem is with color profiles, either the 
image embedded profile or profile settings in PS. Most of the
other programs, including some scanner programs, simply discard 
the correct handling of embedded profiles (or color profiles 
altogether).

I guess you already tried google?

Have you tried SilverFast Ai Standalone/Photoshop Plugin (demo 
for your scanner can be found at www.silverfast.com)? If it works
for you then it might be a good solution. SilverFast is a very
nice program with lots of nice features and automation.

I use SilverFast Ai with my scanner (Epson 1680 Pro) with IT8 targets
and I'm getting very accurate results.
