Did a little bike ride yesterday from Whitstable via Reculver
(Reculbium) and Richborough (Rutupiae) to Margate. Reculver and
Richborough are 2 of the earliest Roman settlements in Britain, dating
from 43AD when Claudius earned himself a triumph, and set Vespasian
off on his march to glory.

I recently bought the Olympus 11-22mm lens, so I've been playing with
it, as you will see. Some thrilling pictures for admirers of brick
walls.
