hi,

digging into my old photos again, from my 3500+ km motorcycle ride
across the himalayas last year, inspired by bill's red canyon, so to
speak. :)

a bit of a background. we were coming down one particular high
altitude pass (16,700 ft) before beginning the ascent towards another
(17,600 ft). in between somewhere around 14-15000 ft, we came across
these series of mindblowing structures carved by the wind. here are
some of them taken with a panasonic fz-20 (doing the ride next year
again with the DS and DA 16-45):

we hit the place sometime around noon, the light is a bit harsh and it
was a p&s. comments, suggestions appreciated.

regards, subash
