I'm a K-500/4,5 user. It is a beast, and I wish it was sharper, but the CA 
is tameable. You just need to have a few things in mind. First, fokus is 
crittical, very crittical.

It also helps to step down. Usually I shoot around f:8, but if I'm able to 
make a clean shot it makes decant results at 5,6. When talking about a clean 
shot I'm referring to the background. A nearly in fokus background is asking 
for trouble.

The last, and perhaps most important factor is contrast in the subject it 
self. Subject with high contrasts definately need stepping down a lot.

I'm still in the learing face, but I beleave I will get decent results after 
a year ot two ;-)
