:-)

I already have a Pentax-K to 4/3 System adapter ... probably not as
nice as the one from CameraQuest.com, but $23 rather than $175. It
doesn't align the lens quite as nicely as the one from the same
vendor does with the Nikon mount lenses, but it works fine. I can
take a snap or two of the camera with a Pentax 43mm and a Nikon 20mm
fitted.

The Nikon 20mm is a much more appropriate alternative lens for the
camera, however. The Olympus ZD 35mm f/3.5 Macro is too close to the
FA43 and is a stunningly good, full function lens (with superb
rendering! quality. Yes, it's not f/1.9, but that hardly matters for
my needs. What's missing in 4/3 System at present is a good, fast
20mm prime lens for a wide normal ... the Nikon 20/2.8AF-D is ok, but
a full function, modern 4/3 System lens would be better.

The L1 body is excellent, I like it just as it is ... a big prism
hump on top wouldn't be to my taste. It's closer in feel, with the
ZD35 or Nikon 20, to a Leica M than to an SLR.

I'll take a couple of pictures soon...
