We got back home to Winter Springs at midnight last evening, having to return one day early to attend a funeral today. Short story a very dear loved one passed away from pancreatic cancer. Anyway, having been on the road since May 27, I am beat!! But, the GFM experience was super, albeit a bit overwhelming for me as a first timer. So much I had planned and thought about doing that never came to fruition! Number one was meeting all you fine list folks at PDML Central. I did stop by twice, and only got to meet Cotty. I was able to put the accent and the RV together to surmise he was the right one! ;-) I also met several others at the check-in site, as well as at the auditorium. I was able to buy a PDML hat. Thanks!!! Downloading images and deciding which to enter was a bit more of a challenge than I figured. Consequently I just grabbed three and went with it. Later I found several others that would have been better choices. However, I wasn't able to stay for the judging so don't even know who the winners were, etc. Are they posted anywhere that they can be viewed?? This event will definately be on my "to do list" for next year, and I believe I will leave the wife in Charlotte with her sister. Trying to fulfil photo desires and family obligations at the same time just doesn't always work!
