I say the luna moth on the page you sent me is not a tulip tree 
callosamia anguilfera :) :)

really hard to tell about tulip and sweetbay -- I leaned toward the 
later because it flys during the day.
But on a second look -- yeah Tulip tree guy....

I guess I'll resend the rambling journal piece  to the list  - dont know 
what happened with that
