To me, that's the best compliment one can pay to a camera: that it  
becomes invisible and you just use it. The DS, K10D and now the L1  
are all in that category to me. The Canon 10D never got there.

The best at this in my lifetime were the Leica M4-P and Rollei 35S. I  
never had to think for a second, I just made what settings I wanted  
and used them. No fuss, no muss, few decisions... ;-)
