Yes, the size is an adjustment you'll make in post. Shoot RAW, which  
is always maximum resolution, and convert to a size that is higher  
resolution than what you need. Then after cropping and any PhotoShop  
adjustment, resize DOWN to the publisher's spec using bicubic  
sharper. If you convert to maximum ACR size, you'll be in the  
neighborhood of 50 cm on the long side at 300 dpi. You have plenty of  
resolution to work with.
