1) Larger buffer
2) Shake Reduction

I use the grip when I'm at home & I love the feel of it. I'm traveling
at the moment and left the grip at home & I've had no problems working
without it.

I've got 2 cheap 3rd party batteries and they work just fine. The
don't hold a charge as long but they're plenty big enough.

Can't say. I got the body only.

I sure do but it's all pricey limited lens stuff :-) That being said
I've found that I've been using my 16-45 quite a bit on my trip.
