A mask would need to be built. It could be done a number of ways, you
could open quickmask and draw lines around the edge of the frame using
a large diameter brush with hardness set to 0%, holding the shift key
will allow you to draw a straight line. Alternately you could use the
linear gradient tool to draw the mask.
