Because it will difficult enough for her to get into DSLR, I don't want her to have to look at a sooo small screen. Screen will be important to her. DL and newer would ideal IMO (2" or bigger).
Also, since I sold mine (ist-d) I've converted into SD cards, I really do not want to have both CF and SD cards. It might also be used as a second body by me so SD slot and K bayonett is mandatory (and big screen).
