Heheh..

I always experiment on my laptop first, which is an Apple PowerBook
G4 1.67 Ghz with 1.5G RAM, single processor. Old tech stuff by
comparison to what they've got now. Along the way installing it, I
also noticed there was both an Apple Security Update and a Mac OS X
System Update to 10.4.10. So I installed everything.

Lightroom 1.1 install was flawless. Opening my test library/catalog
(new terminology) of 350-400 images, it did a backup and update in
less than 40 seconds. New functions in Develop (sharpening, etc).
Snappier performance all around, particularly in the Web module. New
organization in some of the drop downs on panels. Lots of new
capability in the Find panel. ISO in the Metadata Browser.

Nice. Lot of experimenting to do.
