I prefer not to live my life in a world of paranoid mistrust. I pay Adobe for the license to use their software. One of the pieces of the agreement is that I accept they can check that the license certificate is valid, and one of the pieces of the agreement is that they can use my data only for the prescribed purposes. If you choose to be paranoid about it, well, that's your choice. Personally, I consider that a waste of my energy, better spent addressing more important concerns that I *ought* to be paranoid about.
