My experience installing and running Windows XP via Boot Camp on the systems at my last contract demonstrated to me that running it in systems with 1Gbyte or less RAM was very frustrating and slow, prone to errors. Upgrading RAM to 2Gbytes solved those problems. RAM is too cheap to put up with poor operation due to its lack.
