well, I downloaded the software upgrade from Adobe Vs buying in a store so I figured it would have all the latest updates... I just tried to import the photos to my library using PSE3 and it's no-go as well. I don't know what the problem is. The message I get is the files are either damaged or the format is not allowed in the library. I would just about swear I used to have no issues with the *istD's RAW files in Elements3. Ok Should I be able to put a card full of PEF files into my reader, expect Elements to see images, import them, and see them in my library?
I wish in my query about the benefits of shooting PEFs or DNgs somebody would have said something about this PITA. Or maybe it's just that I don't understand the process...
