Congrats Peter! FA* 85/1.4 is a really great portrait (and not only) lens. It provides outstandind sharpness and contrast, very good even at f1.4 (if you're lucky to hit right focus at this shallow DOF ;-) and in two different tests proved to be exceptional - about as sharp as the sharpest among Pentax lenses - FA 50/2.8 macro: http://www.pictchallenge-archives.net/TESTNUM/BxuREV7.html BTW - no one so far has proved superiority of A* over FA* version ;-)
