I was hoping to stick with Pentax but if their offerings don't compare so well then I'll have to look at other brands - as long as I can use the same cards as the K10D I'll be happy. I'm not carrying any SLR kit up hills on the bike as its bulk will get in the way! It'd also serve as a "second camera" which can be easily pocketable (or handbagable as appropriate).
