there'a very small exhibition of 4 bikes outside the Design Museum in London at the moment.
http://www.designmuseum.org/exhibitions/current-exhibitions/fixed "Curated by Ben Wilson, industrial designer and bike fanatic, FIXED looks at the fixed gear bicycle from 1888 to the present day. FIXED is in the Tank, the museum's riverfront exhibition space and free to view day or night. Riding 'fixed' is thought to be a 'pure' way to interact with your bike, no brakes, no gears - just you and the bike. Fixed gear bikes do not allow coasting, so the only way to rest at any point is to pedal slower. Also on 8 July - watch the Tour de France go across Tower Bridge and then bring your bicycle to the Design Museum and tell us why you love it. All contributions will be filmed to form a unique archive of archive of memories, appraisals " because the bikes are in a glass tank you can't really get a good shot of them, but here are some of the 1888 bike, which is jolly interesting and looks quite heavy - look at the chain: http://www.web-options.com/Fixies (note there seems to be some problem with my web host - I've uploaded, but it's not responding to my browser. maybe you'll have more luck) it's not easy being a one-armed photographer!
