I had a couple of friends whose first car back in the 70's were Beetles. They were a hoot to drive. I learned to drive standard on one of them, and once one learns to drive a clutched Beetle, you can drive anything with a clutch. We also had fun with the running boards. Late at night. Don't ask. It was highly illegal and (now that I think of it) quite dangerous... Fun cars... cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
