When I first clicked on the link, the way my browser opened the bottom of the picture was cut off. I thought, meh, don't get it. Realizing I wasn't seeing the entire frame I scrolled down and decided I rather like it. What works: The pastel colors (the red curb being washed out rather than bright red; the wall colors; the off-color sidewalk square that the light pole is anchored to), the vertical and horizontal lines are strong, and the window adds a dimension.
