Forcing SD cards out (instead of pushing to release) seems to stuff the latching mech. The problem is as in most cases not everything is built to accommodate worst case scenarios but mostly to a budget. A well designed CF holder will leave only 5-7mm or exposed card or none at all if it incorporates a release button. When an SD connector is designed it's quite difficult to damage (like an SD socket). Check the following link for a classic example of poor CF slot design. The device on the left with the very shallow slot is the "upgraded" product, the designers needed some more board space ti add regulation but in order to utilize the same casing they needed to sacrifice the CF slot depth. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y259/BigVdub/IMGP7587.jpg -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://picasaweb.google.com/distudio/PESO http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
