There certainly was a lot of melting going on at Engabreen too.
Ideally, glaciers should be photographed when all of last winter's
snow has melted away, because it's only the old ice that exhibit the
blue colour. I was a little early for max effect, but it was quite
good anyway once I got up close to the ice.
