The worst we've had in the past couple of years is the river coming halfway up our back yard. One thing that does worry me is that there are a couple of big housing developments being built upstream from us. The nice thing about dirt is that it soaks up rainfall like a big sponge and releases it gradually during the next couple of days. Enter paving, roofs and modern drainage systems, and suddenly the water goes straight from the sky into the river. The same volume of water will come through in hours instead of days... but I'm sure the council planners know what they're doing :) - Dave -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
