If you have updated the DS' firmware with the latest, it will support 4 and 8 Gbyte capacity SDHC compatible cards. The K10D was equipped that way from the start. There's really no point to anything faster than a Sandisk Ultra II for the DS model, but the K10D can use every bit of the performance that the Extreme III models offer. Be sure to also update your card reader, if you use one. I've found the latest Sandisk Extreme Card Reader is SDHC compatible and the fastest one on the market.
