I recall reading a while ago that repeated exposure to higher elevations has 
the effect of lessening the effects one experiences @ those elevations.
My experiences seems to have born that out. My first time to Denver I 
experienced the usual - headaches, slight disorientation etc. recent trips 
there have had no negative effects at all.
