Riding a mountain bike, but on an asphalt road (bike path, really, but 
just as hard as a road when you hit it).

My tiny chip off the metacarpal is so small that they had to send the 
x-ray out to a specialist just to be sure it really existed. Not in the 
same league as your break. I'll be running as soon as my bruised ribs 
permit: Give it a couple of days. I'm supposed to be running with a 
team in a 5k in a couple of weeks. Should be possible (I was hoping to 
benefit from extra red blood cells gained at altitude, but I ended up 
spilling them all over the ground...)
