You have to be a little careful with the Promaster hot shoe cable, because the
end that connects to the flash does not have the little hole in it where the
flash's pin drops down (look at the shoe on your camera and you'll see the hole
I'm talking about). This, combined with the fact that the "Fix" ring on the
flash (not sure what to call it. It's the part you turn to tighten the
connection to your hot shoe) does not tighten very much, means the flash can
slip out of position on the hot shoe cable's head. I noticed this myself while
taking photos at a friend's wedding a few weeks ago.

The flash won't fall off the shoe, but it's not hard to accidentally knock it
out of position, causing the camera and flash to lose their connection. The
Promaster cable is not exactly "cheapo," but it is not as good as the Pentax-
brand option. Hopefully Promaster will update their cable in the near future
now that there are three Pentax flashes (including that new little one coming
out) with the same pin-style fastener.
