Strohs is the zombie beer that bugs me the most. It used to be a real distinctive beer with a great hoppy bite at the end. It was like Vernors - an acquired taste. Now it's just an innocuous, inoffensive, alcoholic froth. I recently ran into Augsberger at a little party store. I was hoping for the old Augsberger, back when (I think) Huber brewed it. It was so hoppy that you could smell it from 30 feet away. The new stuff, by Steven's Point Brewery, is - um - bland. Another Zombie. Or maybe my taste buds have all drowned. That's possible. - MCC -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mark Cassino Photography Kalamazoo, Michigan www.markcassino.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
