However, there isn't any advantage to shooting film vs. digital capture in most shooting situations, since with film you still have the problems of dust and scratches, and have to put up with the vagaries of the scanning process to make a digital file. If you are going to end up with a digital file, you may as well start with one. About the only time I would think film would be advantageous at this point is if you absolutely need a transparency, or like working in a darkroom as I do. I still prefer 4x5 FP-4 to anything.
