G'day Frank As I said to Godfrey, I don't often comment on "people" photographs because I'm not that confident in taking them.
I like this but I do find the noise distracting. To me, digital noise doesn't give the same "gritty" feel that film grain gives to some images. I hope you don't mind but I thought I'd see how the image looked with less noise. Here's the result (I'll only leave the image there for a few days). http://members.westnet.com.au/brianwal/tim_hamel1.jpg I used a littlle program called "Absolute Denoiser" and darkened the mid tones a bit to make it a bit more 'moody'. I think I prefer it to the noisy version. Again - hope you don't mind my fiddling...
