Thanks for all the suggestions both on and off list. I made an error in that I wasn't clear enough - when I wrote:

The photog already has a zoom covering 18-200mm. 18mm on a 1.5 crop sensor gives an angle of view similar to a 27mm lens on a 'full frame' camera. I'm thinking of a prime lens that will be suitable for landscape / nature work around the 12, maybe 14mm mark. Someone has already suggested Nikon 14 and 18mm, and the 20 2.8 Is there such a thing as a lens compatibility web site for Nikons, along the lines of Boz's site? Thanks. -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
