Hmm, without it, it would only work with the K10D and K100D super since those are the only two with SDM support sofar ... But the first three SDM lenses anounced (16-50, 50-135 and 60-250) will have a "dual drive" capability. For later lenses, they will reconsider that on a lens by lens basis.
