It does. I had mine updated to work with the K10D, but the original update didn't enable off-camera wireless. Apparently they can now update for that as well but I haven't bothered because I don't use that feature. >How old is your unit? I got it the moment they made one available for Pentax. (The AF540 FGZ wasn't available at the time and the 360 wasn't powerful enough for my needs.) >I understand there is an update available from Sigma but haven't >sent mine in yet. When I sent mine in they wouldn't tell me how much it would cost beforehand but they did do it free. I suspect they've been bitten by people sending in failed/damaged units for "updates" trying to get free repairs. (I worked in the electronics repair business for years. I could tell you stories...) >Is wireless usage the only feature you're aware of that's missing >when used on the K10D? The first units wouldn't even expose correctly on the K10D and the first update fixed that. There was a second update after Pentax introduced the AF540 FGZ, to enable wireless off-camera P-TTL. Current units should include both capabilities and updates should take care of both issues but there may be a few units on dealers' shelves that lack the second upgrade, though if you buy from a high-volume dealer like B&H I don't think that would be an issue. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
