Unless you're racing... I'm not sure about the previous owners maintenance, although it did have a full dealer srvice history. When I got the bike the clutch was the worst I've ever seen, the flywheel was loose on the crank, the rear wheel bearings were shot.............etc. But it was cheap and serviceable. I've not pulled the heads yet, I've got a complete set of s/h rockers in excellent condition, just in case. I like having a few spares around! I'd agree there, never really had much of a problem myself, had more trouble with the sockets of spring heads splitting around the ball adjusters.
