I called Pentax. Their phone people, except for Chuck, WHEN they answer 
phones, are not knowledgable. I'm calling from a major organization. They 
send the wrong literature. YES, they are great with manuals and do send them 
on the honor system.
Canon customer service is good. As is Nikon & Minolta. No one has a "Phil 
Bradon." Deal with him, at Minolta and you will see what great service is 
about. Canon can be good. Literature is someplace out west. seems to be a 
boiler room group. Nikon is knowledgeable, but arrogant. Canon, except for 
Chuck, seems he's the only one ever there. Some DITZ of a female is totally 
out of the loop. I loved Canon from 1970's to the EOS 3. That and the weight 
of the new bodies turned me off. To me The Maxxum 9 is the BEST body out 
there BUT too heavy. Nikon F5 has too many interlocks. F100 has poor 
construction. Max 7 uses too much battery power. Contax G2 greal body, 
lenses, but I like to see my focus. 
SO, it comes to the MZ-S and ZX-5n. Love the camera bodies; dislike the USA 
support and ignorance. If I know info, Pentax USA should know it. I'm in 
computers. They are in cameras. No excuses.
I pay good money for a system. If I support it with my $, I expect the 
company to have a knowledgeable person at the other end of a phoneline; OR an 
e-mail.
