Hmm I was there in 1978 - can't remember it - guess I just wasn't in
that spot.

John -- I've been under the weather for a few days - have barely skimmed
subject lines on list -
I finally did a serach to find my name in the body of the text so I
would see if I needed to respond to anyone :) :)

Never saw a Tilt a whirl (don't know what it is even - so maybe I did
see it and didn't know what I was looking a)

I like the guy on the bridge best of the Monhegan shots...

I have to say, I usually avoid photos on flickr - I tend not to go
anywhere I have to sign in unless it
is just a free password the photog published to all he/she emailed.

-( I just recently got burned badly with a TON of spam
because I got suckered into trying to play that Subway scrabble thing on
line... and I knew better)

I have a problem with looking at anything on line that is against a lot
of white background, too... the glare just destroys me.
(aside to Rick Wormer -- I know you don't like black backgrounds but I
not only like them but need them.)

toughing through it I felt the cone flowers were a bit too light and I'd
just crop the hell out of it and lose both the
background and the stalk that lost it's head.

The other thing about flickr is the thumbnails are square whether the
actual photos are square or not -- that seems
pretty disrespectful of the photographers.
