When I mount my A35-70/4 zoom on the K10D I get some strange
aperture-related behavior. The indicated apertures (lens in A, body in
P) go from f8.0 to f45. Same lens on a DS behaves correctly.

Moreover, if I set the aperture (via the Av wheel) to an indicated
f16, with the camera at ISO100, a sunny grass scene meters at about
1/100s, as expected. And the resulting photograph doesn't seem
overexposed. When seen from the front, shutter speed set to one
second, the aperture (indicated f16 in the camera) is obviously
bigger, probably f5.6 or f8.

Anyone with a K10D and the same lens care to test for me? Any ideas
what might be going on?

Thanks,

j
