This'll make some purists puke here, but I got fed up with dust spots on my Darkside 1D so I just wiped the sensor a few times with clean cotton buds and all my stubborn dust blotches disappeared in one go. This the first time in nearly three years. I wouldn't hesitate in doing it again.
